This marble inscription is drawn from a mosaic found in the ancient city of Ostia. The phrase means “Envy, I tread on you”. The work is intended to function as a stepping stone upon which the visitor can stand and thus figuratively stand above the envy of their foes.

2019 – Nonsequitur, Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery, Berlin, Germany.
2018 – Offerings, National Museum of Fine Arts, Havana, Cuba.
